A French Sabbatical

The build up to our 25th anniversary celebration and the release of not one, but three new Three Chamber spirits was a long and arduous road. After months of preparation followed by a cathartic distillery launch, Todd needed a little R&R.

We sent him out to France for a short sabbatical and arranged for him to meet up with his counterpart in Normandy: the legendary Emmanuel Camut from Adrien Camut Calvados. Yesterday, these two finally met face-to-face and spent the entire day discussing the details of distillation, while tasting through ancient casks of apple brandy.

We want to thank Emmanuel for opening up the Camut estate for Todd and his family, as well as hosting them for an unforgettable afternoon of spirit geekery.
