Spring Launch Recap
First off, a huge thank you to everyone who showed up to our 4/20 Spring product launch this past Saturday at the distillery. While our doors didn’t open until 11 AM, we had dozens of Leopold Bros fanatics waiting for us in the parking lot when we arrived at the distillery that morning. By the time we walked out to open the gates, there were more than 75 people in line, waiting to get their hands on the new 8 year old cask strength Bourbon, as well as the new 2024 edition of Summer gin and the Orange Blossom Cordial.
To say we were busy is an understatement. It took us over two hours just to get the line inside the actual tasting room, as the queue snaked around the distillery and out into the garden. We can’t stress enough how appreciative we are to everyone who stayed patient and calm while awaiting their turn at the merch counter. Even the snow and the freezing temperatures didn’t scare anyone off!
Some Leopold Bros customers even came dressed up in costume for the occasion! These two little ones were the spitting image of our own Todd Leopold, wearing his trademark tan Carhartt overalls and beanie. The amount of thought and effort that went into the Spring celebration on the consumer side was simply a joy to behold. There were homemade snacks, crafts, and creativity abound.
At the end of the day, we had gone through almost the entirety of the Bourbon and a good chunk of the Summer gin and Orange Blossom Cordial as well. Not only was it one of the most crowded events in our distillery’s history, it was one of the most fun and dynamic. Hundreds of people were scanning their Proof-It bottle tags, interacting with the whiskey and learning about its creation. Cocktails were served, tours were held, and good times were celebrated across the board.
We want to extend a big, hearty Leopold Bros thank you to everyone who came out to support the distillery. We couldn’t do this without you and we are humbled by your enthusiasm.
